Clovering covers your everyday biometrics; an Apple Watch adds a few features that need extra hardware.

What Clovering is

Clovering reads the health data your COLMI ring has already recorded and writes it to Apple Health on your device. It's a bridge, not a sensor: your ring collects the data, and Clovering moves it to Health without anything passing through a cloud or account.

Once it's in Apple Health, any HealthKit-compatible app can read it, including viewers like Bevel, so you can explore it in the tools you already use.

How it works

  1. Pair your ring

Connect your COLMI ring to Clovering over Bluetooth in a couple of taps.

  2. Read on-device

Clovering pulls your latest readings straight from the ring. Nothing leaves your phone.

  3. Sync to Apple Health

Grant the metrics you want and they land in HealthKit, ready for every app you already trust.

Privacy isn't a setting. It's the architecture.

Most wearables route your personal biometric data through someone else's cloud. Clovering has no cloud. We can't see your data, by design.

Choosing a ring

Clovering is built and tested against the COLMI R02. Other rings on the same QRing app and Bluetooth protocol should work the same way — but the R02 is the only model we've fully verified.

R02

Tested

Our reference device. Syncs every metric Clovering supports today, apart from skin temperature — the R02 has no sensor for it.

R03 · R06

Should work

Close siblings of the R02 on the same protocol, so they should behave the same. We haven't verified each one individually.

R09 · R10

Temp coming soon

Add a skin-temperature sensor. Everyday metrics should sync like the R02; temperature support is still untested and on the way.

Rule of thumb: if a ring's listing tells you to pair it with the QRing app, it likely speaks the same protocol — including many rebranded look-alikes. COLMI rings are sold on Amazon and on AliExpress, which is usually around half the price (with longer shipping).
